Title: Bücker Bü131B - Poznań Aeroclub, 1945 (1/32, ICM)
Post by: PrzemoL on December 18, 2022, 10:02:51 PM: Here is the beginning of another nonWW1 project, a captured German trainer Bü131B which served in Poznań Aeroclub just after WW2.
At least it is a biplane!

The piano hinge from PE is bendable but surely after a couple of moves it would break. So no, it is not movable really ;) I am planning to leave the left cover open up to show one side of the engine.

Some small progress, the doors got the fittings and the bottom wing-fuselage joint was treated, the front line will remain, the rear joint had to be filled and sanded smooth.

Well, I decided to take one more step tonight. The cabane Ns attached with a cardboard jig to control the geometry. I hope they will stand the upper wing load before I will add the interplane struts.

Brad, the colour unfortunately is totally uncertain. The plane was most probably repainted after capture with a bright colour supposed to be grey. So here is my guess.

And yes, the build is finished. Thank you everyone for watching and comments. Now finally for something more WW1-ish!
