Ukraine manufacturers Clear Prop have released a 1/72 Liberty L-12 engine in 3D print.
The 400 HP L-12 was used in the Airco D.H.9A, D.H.10 Amiens, Breguet 14B.2L, Felixstowe F.5L, Curtiss H-16 and many post war American aircraft.
This is good news for me as I was looking for engines for the Airco D.H.10 Eastern Star vac that came without engines.
I have ordered two from Clear Prop, hopefully they will arrive with no trouble.

Their DH.9a is also available.

The D.H.9a was 'sold out' yesterday...
Also available are a decal set and a PE turnbuckle set, both for the D.H.9a.

FWIW, it's showing as in stock on my end.

The two Liberty L-12 engines were shipped on Dec.20 and have arrived safe and sound on Dec.30.
This was faster than shipments from most other parts of the world, and considering the war in Ukraine makes it even more impressive.
So, whoever is hesitating in ordering from Clear Prop as I was - don't, it works.
I now have very delicate 3D printed engines for the old Airco D.H.10 vacuform. Nice!

Thanks for the heads up………I have placed an order for a couple myself.
The purpose will be the same!

I’ve just placed an order for two as well. I’ve always wanted to build the DH-10.
