Title: Magazine and datafile storage
Post by: Berman on September 26, 2022, 02:58:00 AM
Here is a method to perfectly preserve all your reference magazines and datafiles. Stationery stores sell Manilla hanging files along with metal assemblies that fit into filing cabinets. Cut a hanging file into two pieces along the fold. Open your magazine to the center and hang over the metal reinforced flat bar.
Now you can quickly locate the desired issue.

You can also purchase plastic boxes with lids designed to hold hanging files.

be aware that overtime the metal bars can rust and ruin your datafiles.
Anyway, they can be replaced with stiff nylon knotted to the same holes and it does not rust with age...
