Fairly recent finish on this one. The Formaplane vac kit offers really good start point for construction. I scratch built the Beardmore engine, radiator, and a lot of the interior. Markings are from Americal Gryphon. My build log: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/hyperscale/raf-fe-2b-formaplane-vac-t524214.html

Close up shots of 1/72 work is very cruel!

A great model, as we've come to expect from you Tim.
Just curious - the Plum Blossom Design FE.2b looks excellent (I have one), why did you prefer the Formaplane?

Thanks. I am saving the Plumb Blossom kit for a night bomber version.

Very nicely done, and an interesting scheme too. I've not seen that before.

Superb in every way, especially the very fine extra details that you have added to the kit.

Congratulations! I can’t go past a good pusher. I really like the way you did the booms. Working with a vac form must have added a whole other layer of complexity too.

A stunning and spectacular build! I've had this kit languishing in my cabinet for years, it scare the bejeebers out of me. :)
Beautiful work, wish I'd picked up the A/G sheet for this. BTW, how did your A/G decals behave after all of these years? I've kept mine carefully stored away.
Being a fellow traveler on the 1/72nd scale road, yes, photography in that scale is quite harsh, but your result looks great.

Tim,
I love it! I would have guessed it was the Plum Blossum resin kit if you hadn't said. Fantastic job.
