Following on from my thread about the build for this one here are a few pictures.
Prop is carved from plywood (a la Prze. Thanks for the hints and guidance) :D
Everything else is as per, although I did sand all the struts down as far as I dared (too far in the case of the wing ties which resulted in a rather embarrassed purchase of a second kit just for these) :(

Well done ,Paul!
Thanks malaula ;D

Well done Little Triplane Paul! I love the markings you chose to do.

Lovely little fokker!

Superb Fokker. I have not seen those markings before - I really like them. The streaky effect of the fabric is first class.
Stephen.

Thanks RAGIII (i was surprised to see that there is a full sized replica flying with them) ::)

Cheers Stephen. I liked the streaking effect so much I've been searching for a 72nd Fokker DV to add them to (one of my favourite aircraft ever since I saw a powered freeflight version appear in Aeromodeller many moons ago)

Lovely work DaddyO, it'll be interesting to compare our approaches to this subject when I get around to finishing mine! She looks superb!

Cheers Zac. It's a slick looking scheme in the flesh and something a bit different from red ;D
Great inspiration, as usual. Thanks!

Thanks you Rick. It's partly seeing the stuff posted on here that got me started again :)

Well done, wish I had done half as well on mine when I came back (and then left :) ) the hobby.

Brilliant piccies Zac thanks for posting ;D
You're most welcome! And it's a TVAL-owned machine, so you know they did all they can to get the scheme right! ;D
-
Great work DaddyO - as I said in the build thread, I do like the way you've achieved that Fokker finish. Well done, sir :)
-
Thanks guys - appreciate your support ;D

Very nice rendition of the tripe, Paul.
-
Very fine results on this little Dr.I. One of the best streaking effects I have seen in this scale. And I am glad I could help you ;)

That's very kind of you to say PrzemoL - I really appreciate it.
I've been showing your prop making ideas to some local friends who have all been delighted with them. I've already made a Garuda style one for the earlier V3 which is on teh workbench at the moment (first bit of the model I've finished)
All the best
Paul
