Title: CSM Customer Service...
Post by: Gutzer on April 24, 2022, 10:36:50 PM
I have sent multiple emails to CSM to [email protected] and [email protected] but cannot get any replies.  Facebook messages are also a deadend.

This doesn't bode well for a company...

Any hints as to getting a response?

Peter

Edgar (also his profilename) of CSM is a member of this forum too.

I'm sure that you can sort this out with him.

Normally he is very responsive, so I can only imagine that there may be a problem with the CSM website.

Thanks but I have sent numerous emails to CSM (not via their website which has no contact form) over the past week.

Nothing.

Also left numerous messages on their Facebook site.  I got one response on FB that he would look into shipping details, but nothing after that.  Despite repeated messages.

It's just disappointing that CSM produces such great kits, but their communication, at least in my instance, is very lacking.  :(

Peter

Edgar is a member of our Forum and checks in daily. His email address is: [email protected]

You can also send Edgar a personal message (PM ) via the Forum messaging system which works very well. His Forum name is Edgar.

It's important to also acknowledge Copper State is effectively a solo operation and Edgar is doubtless very busy handling the growing product range and designing and overseeing new projects. On top of that he also has a family to provide for.

Thanks Dave.

I didn't realise CSM was just one man.  The quality of the products is therefore the more impressive!

I'm sure I will get a response, perhaps I just need to be more patient!

Cheers,

Peter

I too have not had any luck with getting a response from the Copper States website email [customerservice AT copperstatemodels.com] or their pre-orders email [preorders AT copperstatemodels.com].  Either they aren't receiving their e-mail or they are unable to answer.  Either way no contact.

I was especially interested in the 1/48 Handley-Page O/400.  The test shot photos look very impressive a couple of years back I think it fell victim to COVID.  I remain hopeful.

I hope that Copper State would pop up and give us a SITREP - that would be a great way let folks know what Copper State is doing.

I have had great success contacting Edgar by PM through this site.  I am sure he is quite busy right now with his upcoming release, I believe he is a one man operation.

Juan is right. CSM is a one man operation, and he is very responsive if you pm him under his forum name which is simply 'edgar'.

Cheers,
Willem

Funny! I never had any problems contacting Edgar. Best way seems to be via Facebook/Meta „Messenger“. But I know only few of us forumites are using Facebook…

Greetings
Thank you for contacting me here, there was an issue with our email server, I emailed you back, but guessing you did not receive my answer.
Anyway we do not have any HP left, after the death of our resin caster we were not able to return the masters and the original master was sent to USA
But the good news - we have a few older kits from our old resin range, like Salmson S.M.1 and some other
Once again, I am sorry for the lack of communication

Edgar
