Title: Kest 4b Albatros
Post by: DeLano80 on February 21, 2022, 11:06:12 AM
Does anyone know of a resource of any profiles of Albatros D.III of Kest 4b. The rudders seem brown, although not sure what shade. Also, the wings I have heard would be the three tone camo, but I would love to know the pattern as they of course vary.
Thanks

Probably not of much use, but I did find this profile of a camo D.III which looks nice -

DeLano80,
unfortunately I cannot help you with your question, but may I ask whether you have some hints to literature on KEST 4 or KESTs in general? I am interested in those german home-defense units since I wrote an article that dealt with allied bombing of german towns in the Rhineland in WW1 and found that sources were scarce.
Thanks in advance!
