Title: 1/48 Nieuport 10 two seater
Post by: Rob Hart on February 07, 2022, 12:56:33 PM
Special Hobby kit. I've been struggling to attach the top wing. The strut locations on the wings and fuselage don't line up. I finally decided to attach the wing with just the interplane struts (see photos) and modifying the cabane struts to match new strut locations on the upper wing. After attaching the upper wing, I realized it had too much forward stagger and the solution to the problem is to move the location of the lower wings to fuselage about 2 mm toward the tail. Since these photos were taken, I have pulled the wings off in preparation for relocating the lower wings to fuselage attachment points.

That is a Beautiful Nieuport! Lovely scheme and great execution. Yo seem to be on your way to mastering  the mislocated strut attachments .

Good job painting and decaling!  Will be looking forward to your getting the wings sorted.
