Another Airfix car chopped about. This time, a Model T Ford:

Based on the one at Hendon:

The Airfix kit is for the earlier brass radiator T, this one has the 1917 pattern bonnet and radiator. So much of the kit is going to be replaced

That’s vice versa the problem with the 1:35 ICM Ford T Kits. They have the rounded black painted steel radiator of 1917 and not the brass radiator of the older versions…
Back home (I am on holidays at the moment) I can have a look into my two volume book regarding British built Fords. I think there could also be a little more information on this one.

That looks great, Richard!

Do you know which kit he used, Frank?
Meanwhile, more bits of the Airfix kit removed, and new parts added:

As far as I know that was a Ambulance Ford by RPM. Can be found on ebay. They produce also 1/72 versions.

I just found a new kit (released this year) of the Ford Model T Hucks starter in 1/48:

I find I'm having to make model twice - once in card then again in styrene. Anyway, more bits added:

I managed to salvage some more of the kit - the seat!
