I have finalyl completed the 1/72nd Fokker DR1 started years ago for the tutorial on using artist oils for streaking. I must say that I respect Anyone that builds in this scale! I found that things were just way too small for me to get them 100% the way I wanted :(

Fantastic work on your DR1, Rick -
I actually thought this was larger scale than 72nd so well done - the streaking effect is good too.

If you had not told us I could have mistaken that for 1/32 scale. You certainly can achieve a great deal of accurate detail in the True Scale Rick. No excuse for not building more!

Beautiful little DR1 Rick, there is absolutely nothing except the title that gives away that this is not your usual 1/32 scale. I think it is a little stunner!

If I consider how small a Dr.I in 1/72 is, I have to say that this is a outstanding model.
The streaking I will use as a reference :)

Very Nice Amigo, we are all our own worst critic !

that's a fantastic result and looks superb. 1/72 is very unforgiving and fiddly so cudos for a achieving such a great looking plane

What a nice Triplane Rick! As far as I am concerned, you are the streaky Camo Meister! Well done, Marc.

I am really surprised you build in 72nd scale, too. A very fine effort, Rick. Thanks for sharing.
