Title: Billy Bishop’s Nieuport in 1:32

Copper State now has a boxing of the Billy’s Nieuport listed as a Nieuport XXIII, B1566. How accurate is this?  I know there are minor differences between the 17 and 23, but isn’t B1566 generally accepted as a 17?

 Copper State Models has got it right. The RFC serial number was B1566 for Nieuport 23. The SFA (Service de Fabrication de l'Aviation) number was N3679. Source of my information:  http://www.airhistory.org.uk/rfc/Nieuport.html
