I think this was already announced somewhere here, but I cannot remember, where exactly:

It’s a bilingual (German/English) book covering the history of Jasta 14 and including some superb color profiles by Juanita Franzi.
I received my copy this morning and am very impressed by this fantastic work.

Besides of that the publisher also offers some decals for Jasta 14 machines in both scales 1:72 and 1:48. I got in contact with them to ask, if they‘d think about releasing them in 1:32 scale as well. I‘ll post their answer.

Die Anregung zu den Decals in 1:32 hatten wir auch schon von einem anderen Kunden. Das Problem ist, dass wir eine sehr hohe Mindestzahl an Decals bestellen müssen, damit der beste Drucker den Auftrag annimmt und da die Decals in 1:32 so groß werden, passen nur zwei auf einen Bogen. Anders als bei den kleineren Maschinen. Es würde sich also wahrscheinlich nicht lohnen, aber wir denken weiter darüber nach.
Sollten wir es doch machen, würden wir Sie kontaktieren.

other customers got in contact with them as well regarding the release of these decals in 1:32 scale. Their problem is that they have to order a large amount of decals from the printer and because of the decal's size once upscaled into 1:32 scale they would have to print two sheets instead of just one. Therefore they are afraid to loose money. But they don't drop the idea but go on thinking about it.

So if you probably write them an e-mail, you could show your interest in these decals in 1:32 scale. If the demand is large enough, they'd probably do it. You can get in touch with them via

It's not a modelling reference as such but a history of Jasta 14 containing many interesting photos and some lovely profiles from Juanita Franzl all up to Starts production standards. As fror the decals Hannants are listing the 1/72 and 1/48 sets as future releases. No news as yet re 1/32 sets.
Oh! and the lovely smell of a new book.
