Never heard of this airplane. Looks like a relative of good old JN-4 Jenny..

Neat , never heard of this type either . I have one of Branco's kit in my stash . Their P40B and over all not a bad kit but fails in the dept of the cockpit and the wind screen is waaaaaay to wide and the front shield is lacking framing . Be interesting to see this kit , they do have excellent armour kits .

The "Chia" type is a double-wing, double-buoy, and two-seater seaplane. Both front and rear seats are equipped with driving control equipment, which can be used for coaching, reconnaissance, bombing and other purposes. This model was designed by Ba Yuzao, Director of Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering Division, Wang Zhu, and Zeng Yijing, Deputy Directors, etc. It is very similar to a mass-produced aircraft "Boeing C" designed by Wang Zhu for Boeing in 1916. At the same time, it referred to the design advantages of the world-famous Curtis "Jenny" aircraft at the time.

Another internet source states that is was powered by a 100hp Curtiss engine. There were only three built due to lack of funds. Maybe if enough modelers write to Bronco, they will produce some 1/48th scale WWI seaplanes. There are over a hundred types that have never been kitted.
