This is a combination of the HR resin kit for the nose, tailplanes, and a few bits, mated with the Airfix B.E.2c. The Airfix kit had somewhat finer molding details and was easier to use for the main airframe.

Very impressive build and 1/72nd scale, too!

That is one very lovely build indeed :)

That is Spectacular work for any scale! In 1/72nd...even better than Spectacular!

A very good conversion: the rigging is especially good. And as Rick has commented, it is in the Correct scale too!

A very nice model, with an impressive rigging in that small scale!
Looks on the pictures like quarter scale.

It looks great! Looks like a lot of rigging.

Thanks all!

Missed this earlier, it's a real gem and appears of a larger scale. Very nice work, congratulations on a really beautiful model!

Herb,
Very nice job! How did you make the turnbuckles? Also, who's decals did you use for the national insignia?
Stuart

Thanks Stuart,
The turnbuckles are just blobs of white glue, painted dark silver. I think most of the decals were from an old Americal-Gryphon sheet, which conveniently offered some "whiteless" roundels...

And in 1/72, most impressive !
