Post by: rfindley on January 10, 2021, 09:38:14 AM
Has anyone bought this sprue directly from Roden for engine replacements?

Hi Alexis

I had to rob an engine from one of my Roden kits to replace the kit engine in my Eduard Degelow build since I had the cowling covers removed.  Thought it would be nice to get their engine sprue for future replacements.  Got to be cheaper than robbing from the Roden kit when I want an open Eduard build.

Have you tried asking Roden ?

Not sure if they have a contact number . Never heard of anyone doing so , but there is a first time for everything .

I know at one time you could get the engines in 32 scale even came with a stand for the engine . Just not sure if they did them is 48 scale , but it would be nice they do have pretty good engines which are a better base for adding detail too .
