Well starting Oct 31 I'm no longer among the working class .

Got my lay off notice yesterday ... :(

    So very sorry to hear that Terri. This Covid "thing" is really kicking the crap out of everyone these days. Keep the faith, keep positive, and I sincerely hope things work out on a more positive note real soon.

Sorry to hear that, Terri. You're certainly not alone in that- I have many friends and family in the USA, UK, EU, and the Antipodes who are in the same boat. Even with various attempts at relief packages, so many businesses are feeling the squeeze and others are just gone. Wishing you the best of fortunes in finding suitable employment.

Thanks guys for the support .

The shock of it all is over now and not in that freaked out mode ...Oh no , I'm going to be homeless !

I know I will pull throw and it will be tight at first and I can get EI ( unemployment insurance ) . Also have getting a hold of contacts and I have some folks who have my back

Sorry to hear that Terri. I got laid off at the end of September but managed to get a freelance contract with the same company that is keeping me busy. I looked at it as "if I hadn't been laid off before and taken the jobs I did, I wouldn't be here now". All things happen for a reason and I'm sure you'll look back in years to come and see that it actually worked out ok!

I think I will take a few months to myself first , would like to take a class and get another ticket behind my belt , but they don't start until Jan .
