Hi all,
Here's the shots of the completed Italian Sopwith ‘Baby’ (Serial No. So.5005), built under license by the SA Aeronautica Gio Ansaldo of Turin.
The resin model is from 'Lukgraph.
The full build log for this model can be found here:

Mike,
I must say, to my eyes, it's your best build yet.
The detail makes it look much larger that 1/32nd scale.

I do like the Baby, and thismodel makes me like it even more. That is just so realistic - the figure and pose make the whole scene even more so. Many congrtaulations on a truly first class model.

Beautiful model Mike, the finish and the "used" look are superb. The detailing is also absolutely stunning, that cockpit and "wheel" are excellent work! Congratulations on another winner.

Hi all,
Thanks for your comments - much appreciated.

I referred to your build many times - you shouldn't be so modest - it is an exceptional model,

Hi Mike!
First I want to say sorry because I feel like I've abandoned you during build.
Second I want to add that it seems that you don't need me! A beautifully realized italian Baby.
I saw that finally you choose to paint green upper surfaces of lower wings, as for Ansaldo factory drawings suggested. I agree 100% your choice.
References about our Babies are really scarce, so building this model was a challenge more difficult than others.
You've must "choose" with few proofs many passages but I think you've finally reached higher result.
Happy to have helped you and thank you for mention in your build log.

Great looking result! I like the linen structure the most, but then again everything looks great.

You're a true artist Mike! You have the distinctive style of a grand master.
Your inventiveness and subtle use of linen effect decals is sublime. Even the display base for the 'baby" is a work of art in its own right. I am truly inspired.....

Hard to find the words to complement- but amazing work! I hear CSM are bringing one out too, I’ll have to get one of them.
