As we seen it already in the build thread you have done three great SPAD models!
Especially the rigging would make one for me boring enough, but you managed this in a great way.
Thanks for showing,
Frank

THERE they are! I was waiting for these. They look great, Rick!
Thanks for the ride...Dan

Once again, let me express my amazement at your resolution to tackle such difficult kits. And the results are truly remarkable - a trio to be proud of.
PS. Are you waiting for Roden's new release? ;)
-
Such wonderful work Rick - congrats on a lovely trio of models!
Cheers,
Gary

Really nice ! That's a great collection for sure.

RAG III,
I, too, have been awaiting the final presentation of the Spads. They really do show what a great looking aircraft the Spad XIII was,
Thanks for the entertaining builds,
Kevin

They all look great, Rick. Any shots of all three together?

It was a very inspiring build to follow and the end result is great!

Quite a journey "Rags", and you deserve a medal for taking on not two, but THREE of these little devils! The rigging is what has kept both of mine hidden in the Stash, it takes a brave approach to tackle that challenge! Great finishes on all three and certainly a spectacular addition to your collection. Very nice!
Cheers,
Lance

Persistence pays off -an excellent looking trio! :) As I wrote before, though relatively often seen, I especially like the Rickenbacker scheme :)

A Huge thanks to all for the compliments. All are greatly Appreciated! To answer a couple of questions:
Przemol: Yes I actually do look forward to a Roden SPAD XIII. I just need to get a Vise and learn to squash brass tubing and solder. 8)
Bob: No shots of all three together. I will have to do that someday and perhaps post in the "Show Us" thread.
Lance, as for the rigging I am sure you could come up with a better solution! You did experiment with brass struts on your Fokker EV so you are way ahead of Me ;D

You did the trifecta Rick! All very nicely done, lovely schemes and outstanding builds. As has been mentioned, the rigging is a challenge and you managed to pull it off nicely. Motivating to say (write) the least.
Bravo Zulu!
