Hi all,
Here's the completed Siemens Schuckert D.III (Serial No. 834 to 8359/17) as flown by Ltn. Joachim von Ziegesar when serving with Jasta 15 during May, 1918.
As usual a fully detailed build log, in PDF format, is available to download from my web site (link below),

Super! Just super! Everything about tis model shouts quality! I do like the two figures looking upwards - they add an extremely realistic touch to the model. The metallic finish on the cowling is also excellent.

Great work on the lozenge, and the cockpit detail looks sharp. Thanks for sharing the model!

Lovely rendition of a much maligned kit. It does though take quite a bit of wrestling to achieve results as good as this. Real modelling.
Applause, applause.

A well executed model indeed. Colors are vibrant, just enough weathering to add some interest. A tough kit but you make it look easy and the results are worth the effort. Figures, setting and the model make for an outstanding little vignette.
