Found at the bottom of a drawer, my parent's house. I'm probably going to set all as a "tableau" and hang on a wall as a picture.

Love the spotty Stuka, what a great collection.

Amazing discovery!

A lot of very happy memories kindled with that photo! The "bagged" Airfix Kits were a staple in my little world of the time and some of the box art is frighteningly ancient!! Great stuff!

great finding Giuseppe!
i myself have a tin-box (actually the box of a Bauli panettone) full of these old aifix bags

Looking at that I have just regressed ......years! I can just remember some of those older headers: by the time I was old enough to afford to actually buy one the headers had changed. I still have a Spitfire with the header you illustrate, and I inherited from a friend of my brother a spotty Ju 87 which is still in my roof!

Stephen,
Your Stuka really jolted my memory, I had a larger Lindberg one done in a very similar scheme, and that was at least 65 years ago! I love to see these old kits as they bring back the thrill I felt on setting out for the variety store to shop for another hard earned treasure. Sorting through the rotating display stand full of Airfix bags was a true adventure! Life certainly has changed .......
Cheers,

I see myself at the age of 7, staring at the showcase of a shop - i have a vivid memory of the yellow plastic of the auster antarctic and of a frog whittle.
-
I have carefully counted my pocket money, and I have enough for one kit - which one??
Ahh nostalgia

Everyone feelings, sooner or later!

Classic! I remember the old Stuka too...Christmas present 198?
-
With that header, the Stuka would be 196? or even 195?😃
I think the SR53 is avidly sought by collectors and probably worth a lot of money. Maybe the Auster too.

Thank you Sandy, yes the oldest kits were probably bought late '50s. I'm getting curious about their value: let me have a look on ebay, if there is any of the same issues.
