Title: WNW Felixstowe removeable wings
Post by: petero on February 06, 2020, 11:03:58 PM
I'm not sure this is the right place to ask, but I'll give it a shot. WNW's Felixstowe instructions suggest not gluing the wings onto the center section for easier display. Has anyone actually done this? I'm skeptical that it would work, given rigging and the stability of the detached wings, but it would help the display problem.

I have one to build and I'd like to know that too.

There is a build of an Aeromarine 75 on LSP using Felixstowe parts (like the originals). Kent built his with removable wings:

Thanks, Richard. That's just what I needed to see. Just as long as I don't have to convert it to the Aeromarine 75 in order to make them removable  :o
