After a long time, the WnW D.VII is finally finished. It was my first 1/32 build in years, my first biplane ever in 1/32, and my first WnW kit. Definately not my last 1/32 bi- tri- or monoplane!
I'd like to express thanks to all who supported me with their advice, tips, praise and critique, but especially Stefan Buss for sending me the Greim decals and the very, very kind person who sent me the kit in the first place after reading the review of my Roden 1/72 kit on ModellingMadness, which truly deserves it's poor reputation...
Build thread is here: https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=7988.0
The photos can be clicked to make them a bit larger. Due to the contrast between the dark front end and light tail, I had quite some trouble producing decent photo's.

And, finally, both of them together:

Now I want to finish some 1/72 off-topic models first, but in the meantime also do some prepratory work on the 1/32 Camel.

Looks wonderful, enjoyed following along and more so the finished product. :D :D :D

A pair of excellent models (yes even the Roden!). The markings are very striking indeed and I think that you photos have done justice to the model. Looking forward to seeing more of your WNW models.

Beautiful! ....both of them. :)

You did a great job on both the 32nd and 48th. I did the Greim triplane as well as the green striped one flown by his wing man, both 48th Eduards.
-
Super job on both Fokkers :)

Jeroen,
This may be all the "firsts" you mention but the quality on display defies that comment; the larger scale version is a beautiful model and it's smaller Eduard cousin is very nice as well. Nicely done both!

Thanks everyone for the kind words! :)
The small model is actually the 1/72 Roden kit, long fuselage and all. (I've done another that some may remember, in Pheon's Jasta Raben decals, I shortened the fuselage on that and used Aviattic lozenge instead of the horrid old Techmod)
I'm not really into doing multiples, but might do another D.VII in the future...
Thanks again, Jeroen
