Of the four beautiful schemes you presented, I vote for #3 because of the unique fuselage graphic. There's certainly no shortage of interesting markings ... will be a tough decision for you. ;)

It is #2 for Me. My reason is that this was offered a long, long, time ago as an aftermarket decal in 1/72nd. It was the first Time I ever realized that the Russian schemes existed and it brings back fond Memories!
RAGIII
PS: I will most likely build a Lafayette Escadrille version flown by Andrew Courtney Campbell ;D

Would have to be number 1 for me , bright and stands out .

Number 2........seems like that one was the first one I ever saw a picture of in Russian markings so it is most memorable to me.

For me, boxart choice #3, beautufull and dramatic and oh so nice to se a Russian option on the box.

Edgar, who were the pilots of 1 and 4?
3's a pilot named A K Petrenko from 1919.
2's B A Guber, commander of 19th KAO from 1917.
maybe an aftermarket decal set of Donat Makeenok's N.XXIII? (see attached)
-
I'm going with #2 also.
Mike
-
#2 for me, love the morbid skull head, but #3 looks also very nice.
-
Has to be Number 3. Like the graphics.
-
Pinocchio, a French paint aways and sugestion for Belgian paint also, like Edmund Thieffry "La Comete" plane.
-
Even if the russian or french markings are interesting , for a Belgian they have not an great interest.... ;), so why not produce some belgian markings, like Demeulmeester, Thieffry, Verbessem..etc ;D ;D ;)
look at the site http://www.belgian-wings.be/ or in to the book :" the Belgian air service in the first world war"
and please remember that the Nie23 probably the 5024 is the sole survivor in this world , the last of his breed is in Belgium and she has fighting in the great war :P :P
forgive my bad english ;)
regards from belgium,
Fred
-
2,then 3 for me but I think Jeff's suggestion trumps all of them.
-
We can make Belgian version together with Rusian markings, but in this case, we should exclude French markings out of this kit)

Yes, BUT: #2for me, please!
Bob's still pre-revolution if i'm not mistaken, not civil war.
but on the other hand, i've got an Uncle Bob (yes, Bob's me ACTUAL uncle)... so i'll probably get two (or 3, i'd like going to have a go at that Makeenok ship even if i have to print my own decals on a laser printer).
-
Hi, Edgar! Thank you for the photos.
My suggestion: 3
Cheers

Number 2 for box art. Distinct from previous releases but I personally like 1. Belgian would be really good too.
