So working on the WNW Albatros DV(early) flown by vzfw. Bamsner, Jasta 10. WNW instructions call for roughly half of the upper wing to be painted green and the other half lilac. I have not seen this layout before . Usual layout is green , lilac, green or lilac, green, lilac. Not saying it is impossible but wondering if anyone has seen this upper surface of the upper wing camo before? All opinions welcome and encouraged ;D

Hi Rick,

Von Hippel's Jasta 5 machine springs to mind.

Thanks for the confirming photo Tony. I did go with this on My early Jasta 10 bird as suggested by WNW. Still wonder how they made the determination as the only photo I know of is from 3/4 front and low ::)
