Title: Adrienne Delatorre has passed away
Post by: Dave W on June 10, 2019, 01:19:34 PM: It is with great sadness that we wish to advise Forum members that Adrienne Delatorre, widow of late forum founder Des Delatorre, has passed away.

Adrienne was a staunch supporter of the Forum and following the death of Des in February last year she took a leading role in protecting the forum and Des' website and ensuring they would continue. Our Forum's strength today is directly due to Adrienne's insisting that Des' wish for a WW1 modelling family would continue.

Adrienne regularly checked in to the forum and was greatly heartened by the spirit of friendship and co-operation here. She often remarked that Des would be so proud to see what his forum has become.

Adrienne's contribution to the Forum ensured its ongoing vitality for which we are all grateful.
