Sorry to hear this. Hope it is't too bad. Mine wasn't too bad but it still took a long time to get over it... And I never did get back to 100%. So good luck to you.

Lozenge, I had my 1st one at age 18, the second at 30.

Hello it is not too bad - my handwriting changed. I do look foreward for the ordered Albatross of Roden and we will see in 1/32 what is left in the right hand. Today leaving the hospital.

Lozenge give it time, not sure of the severity of your event but in my case the only residual effects is a inability to grasp words as quickly as I would like and my right hand finger tips feel as if the have bandages wrapping them. luckily I am left handed, when the stroke occurred it affected my right side, speech, walking, memory and hand writing although I could hold the pencil just fine I couldn't make it write or even knew what it was called!

My recovery was strange I would fall asleep and wake up with more and more vocabulary and motor skills. In about 10 days is almost back to normal.

Its a dreadful feeling I wish upon no one.
