Title: Does this count as WW1 modelling??Hi all
Post by: Europapete on May 05, 2019, 11:52:31 AM
Hi All, OK, so here I am, watching Aces High with a brand new WNW Stahltaube arrived in the mail today curtousy (sp?) of their April sale and a nice glass of Copper Ridge to hand. BUT, actually working on a 1/200 HMS Hood. She was, however, ordered in the war, so I say that counts lol.Regards, Pete in RI

Don't be silly Pete, everyone here knows Copper Ridge wasn't bottled until well after the Great War! ;)  :D :D :D :D :D :D

Hood was not comissioned until after WW1 had ended but she was a product of that conflict and in her original guise would have been a typical ship of the line for the time, so yes it couold be just regarded as within the boundaries of tis forum IMHO.

Well the ocean that HMS Hood sailed on was around during WW1 so that helps qualify it within forum boundaries!  :)

More seriously, the Hood would be welcome in the off topic board. I'd like to see the 1/200 kit. I have a Heller 1/400 Hood to do one day...
