Title: Caveat Emptor
Post by: Rob Hart on April 11, 2019, 06:10:19 AM
I pre-ordered Fine Scale Modeler's 'Great War Scale Modeling' special, received the magazine around the first of this year, and just got around to reading it this week. I was disappointed to find that 17 of the 82 pages were given over to photos of non Great War/WWI contest models. Maybe I'm being unreasonably picky, but I don't think photos of robot and funny car models belong in a magazine claiming to be commemorating the centennial of the end of WWI.

Yes I would agree, I passed on this one.

Thanks for posting this, I had just come across the digital offering for it over the past weekend, but didn't buy it at the time. Had planned to, but I think I'll give it a miss, doubt there is any ground breaking info in it.
