Over the past few months I have been building Revells new tooled Mustang in 32 scale . I added a bit of stuff to the pit and a few scratched details
For the wheel bay Eduards PE set was used and two months of detailing later results turned out pretty good . This is my first try at srcatch building and detailing . Totally different then 48 scale . Many parts had to be remade over a few times . It is far from being accurate . I used refs at home and the WWW .

Amazing work Terri, that's some very serious and outstanding detail work. As Juan has pointed out, it looks functional! Keep the updates flowing, this is too good to miss out on!

Guyana bigger scales...
Thanks ! 3/4 of the kits I pick up last year are 32 scale . Don't buy much of 48 anymore . Failing eye sight and the large scale well ...it is fun !

Thank you very much guys :)
I have finished adding the details to the landing gear legs and bomb/drop tank racks . I tried doing the brake lines using one piece but it didn't turn out that way . Each line has three sections .
Up next is some re-scribing and rivet details . The cowling panels have lots of rivet details but they didn't do the top cowling part ???? Why would they miss this . Easy fix :)
Will start with the gear doors first

Your extra efforts are really paying dividends T!

Thanks Rick :) I'm slowly plugging away at it and just have a few areas to detail on the cowling panels and I think everything is ready for primer for the re-touch up of filling , sanding replacing detail again . Other then that it is going rather well . Should have an update over the long weekend .

As I sat there thinking about how to make repairs on the N-17 . I started back on this and added the missing fastrens on the top cowl panels ...
-
your models are always a source of inspiration, Terri
-
Thank-you Ermeio . I finished up the fastrens and got the front wind screen in place and I'm ready for masking and let the painting begin !

Metal coat is done and she has her blue nose .

And the under side .

Terri,
That bottom view shows the wheel well detail beautifully, what a great job you've done there! My compliments, she's going to be an absolute beauty! Looking forward to seeing this one in the "Completed" section!

Thanks Lance for the comments about my bottom ! :o ;)
I sprayed the white last night for the ID bands . The black is decal so hopefully my measurements are correct for the white . Clear coating tonight and should be able to start decaling tomorrow and have this wrap over the weekend .

Almost missed the black ID bands on the tail planes :o That is now corrected and clear coating under way :) I'm getting there !
Can you guess which scheme this is going to be ?

...... Been a long time away from the WWII Topic but it's gotta be Petie II?

Close Lance , but I have done Pete II on Tamiya 32 scale kit . Cripes A Mighty it will be ;)

Well , was not expecting this part to go smoothly but in the end it turned out rather well . Next time I will mask and spray the black bands . Just save a lot time . I had to remove the star and bars from the under side of the wing because I got it in the wrong position , masking tape saved me .

Second round of decaling done . Now comes all the tiny little stencils which will take a few sessions .
