Title: Eduard 1/48 Sopwith Baby - can you make a Tabloid?
Post by: KiwiZac on December 25, 2018, 01:53:06 PM
Hi all,
Just curious as to whether the Baby includes the parts to build a Tabloid. I'm having trouble finding any in-box reviews/previews and a shop local to me has a secondhand kit which would be a great score.

All advice appreciated greatly!

Why try?
Special hobby has a very nice kit of the Tabloid, and is still available for decent prices if you look around.
If you can not find it, look for the kit Lebed VII, also from Special hobby, that is the russian copy of the Tabloid, same kit only differant decals.

Search Sopwith Baby and Sopwith Tabloid at the scalemates site, for links to reviews of both.

Haven't built mine yet, but have to agree with Hiddeous,  the SH's Tabloid looks like a very nice kit.

Scalemates is normally very helpful, but the Baby reviews have no sprue photos. Maybe I should just grab it and do some scratching?

I'd forgotten it was Special Hobby who did the Tabloid!
