Dave, if this is in the wrong place, please feel free to move it.
This is my rendition of the old Pyro 1/48 scale Fairey Flycatcher. The only interior provided in the kit was a seat, which was all wrong, a very rudimentary instrument panel and a stick, so I scratched an entire interior, from the floor up. I fancied it up a bit with Model Alliance decals and Gaspatch .303 Brownings. A super quick build to kill the time while I waited on the Copper State Nieuports. Finished her a couple weeks ago, right after we returned from SMW.

Hope she meets with you approval. Now, on to the CSM Nieuports.

Can't see the photos Amigo but having seen this one elsewhere I feel free to say it is a stunning piece of work on an old basic kit!

Absolutely lovely job Bud,I have a few of these stashed for a rainy day and a 1/32 resin one too,my favourite interwar British naval aircraft. The decals don't seem to have suffered at all from age. That line of kits were really ahead of their time and as you have proved are well worth building.
Congratulations,
Dave.

Thanks, Dave! The kit decals were useless, so I used an after market sheet for Model Alliance. The sheet included several types, including a Hawker Fury and a Gladiator, both of which I will find a use for.
Cheers,
Bud

Bench cleared for the Nieuports!

yes
Well done!

Ah, very nice model. For a "time killer" it turned out as a real gem.

Love those interwar silver doped aircraft!
She’s a gem Bud ;)

Ps what did you use for rigging and turnbuckles?
Guy
-
Thanks, fellas!
No turnbuckles, Guy, just short bits of brass tubing painted steel color to represent RAF wire connectors. For the control lines I use Modelkasten 0.6 and for the rigging I used Trilene 2 lb test monofilament painted steel color.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks, Steve! The CSM Nieuports are next, but Rod Janes has been kind enough to donate an Inpact Hawker Fury to the cause, so the will be in the 2019 line-up, after the WNW Halberstadt that Carol got me for Christmas and the Copper State Handley Page.
Cheers,
Bud
