Title: Pfalz D.IIIa - von der Marwitz (1/32, Wingnut Wings)
Post by: PrzemoL on August 01, 2018, 04:17:30 AM
Let me present to you my recently completed Pfalz D.IIIa in H.G. von der Marwitz colours - those painted with custom made masks. I have also used Taurus models resin bits for Mercedes engine, HGW textile seat-belts and Gaspatch turnbuckles. Also some scratch details to the engine compartment and the cockpit were added.

A model which is not in Polish markings??!

Still a stunner though Prez: the extra details that you add turn a first class model into an exceptional one.

Stephen.

Really a very nice model. I love the color shades and it’s overall appearance is as amazing as usual when it comes to your models.

Oh, that is what I call a perfect model! Great in all aspects.
A huge amount of details, which integrates nicely into the model. I know some details from the plans and all of them are correct.
Congratulation!

Cheers,
Frank

Thank you, everyone. Your applause is very much appreciated.

Stephen.

I would love to build one in Polish markings but it seems D.IIIas did not make it to the Eastern Front and we could not lay our hands of them when independence was won in 1918. Pity... Pfalz D.IIIa in 7th Kosciuszko Squadron markings would be beautiful...
