Lookin' good DrDave! Very nice finish and weathering. What did you use for the silver finish?
Regards,
Bob

Very, VERY nice, Dave. Your weathering is spot on and your prop gorgeous. Not often you see such a coloful Pup.
Cheers,
Bud

Very Nice Dr. Dave: I too like the subtle weathering. Interesting scheme for the Pup.
Looking forward to updates as you progress through this kit.

Wow, love the paint job, Dave!
Can I ask two questions? 1. What colour of blue is that on the cowling, and 2. How do you do your chipping effect? Very, well, effective.

Thanks fellas
The Silver dope is Modelmaster aluminium acrylic metallizer. The cowling and panels were polished aluminium alclad. The contrast is a bit too subtle. Over the top, the blue is Gunze Pthalocyanine blue translucent, which lets the cowling show thrue the translucence, a pleasing effect. Weathering is Gunze oil and smoke acrylic. The chips are with a silver gel pen, which I used to highlight the rivets aling the cockpit coaming too. I used Alclad brass dotted on every screw head for contrast!
