I have my own ideas about PC-10 but may give yours a try anyway. probably will do the CDL even if just for the texture.

Bit shocked to find that 20% VAT is added at the end of the ordering process. It's normal for UK retail sites to include VAT in the list price, not add it on later? I know you don't end up paying any more, but you must continually add 20% to the basket cost to get the "real" cost.

Quite simple - I have customers all over the world and anyone outside the EU is not liable for VAT - so it has to be added at the end when the customers address is recognised.
Sorry you were so "shocked", many websites include VAT in their prices and charge it to everybody....

regards
Richard

as someone outside the EU, I can attest to that. Trust, paying tax you don't owe is a worse shock...

Agreed. A vendor I used to use now leaves the VAT on. Putting it on at the end is the transparent way of doing business I think. By all means feel free to shake your fist at the taxman though!! In Canada we pay 13% pst/gst and grumble....at least with Aviattic there truly is value in the value added tax!!!

When your unlucky number comes up there is also the dreaded $10 handling fee to open your parcel to charge the correct tax ;(
Sigh you got to love bureaucracy
