An update on Des' health status....
Des remains in hospital with a serious health issue and is getting the best medical care but at this stage it's not known how long he might be offline for.
Des really appreciates all the messages of support posted on this forum and passes on his grateful thanks to members for your support which means an enormous amount to him.
At present he is unable to respond to individual posts but every forum get well post has been read to him and he has asked that his gratitude to members be passed on. Your messages of support mean more than you may realise.
In the meantime the forum continues as usual with interim moderators but please bear with us during this time.

Thank you Dave for the update, I feel (and I'm sure everybody here does) as we are all bound together engaging this giant scrum to push back this "serious health issue" and I'm happy Des takes any advantage by this support of ours.
I keep thinking of him!

Thank you Dave for the information.
Continuing to pray for Des
Dear Administrator, get well as soon as possible!

In the UK, it is traditional to take people fruit when they are in hospital:

No idea why it is a tradition, I've never wanted to eat fruit while ill in hospital, and I don't like grapes
