Title: Aviattic's decals How do you trim them on the model?

I'm using a couple methods to trim the Aviattic decals.  A new Exacto No. 11 blade and a medium sanding stick.  I find at different points the Exacto blade will hang up and start to tear the decal.  Maybe this is normal due to the material he uses but wondering what other methods you guys recommend.

For an uneven edge (scallops) I find my flexifile very usefull.
For the rest I mosltly use a straight edge and a fresh scalpel .
But very intererrested to know what everybody uses as their method

I use a curved blade to cut decals on a flat surface but like Hiddeous1973 I will use a file for uneven edges.

I (too) find them rather elastic and tough to trim.
On my 1/72 builds I gave the edges some Mr Mark Softer (the only setting solution I have that seems to work best on them) that somehow makes them a bit more brittle. I then use a fresh blade to trim them off. Worked quite well on my 1/72 Albatros D.Va and Fokker D.VII.

Well I'm glad to read your comments as I thought 'am I the only guy having these issues'?  I'll try the Mr Mark suggestion.
