Here is the final product of my double build:
Clerget Camel from Duellists boxing with decals donated by Boggie (thanks a lot, mate) depicting the a/c flown by HG Watson in the spring of 1918 in 4th AFC Sqn
and
Bentley Camel flown by KM Murray in Polish 7th Kosciuszko Squadron - the famous American volunteers group, in 1920 during the hard fighting in the Soviet-Polish war.

Ohhhhh...great camels. Your standard is so high and you are still getting better and better...

DOUBLE WONDERFUL !!

Thank you, everybody.
Still, there is a need for erratum:
what I did with windscreens was a complete nonsense! It was rightly indicated to me by Buzby - thank you my friend. So here is the corrected version of windscreen installation

Hey Prze. :)
Who says PC 10/12 is boring? ;D
A beautiful pair of Camels indeed.
Very talented modelling!
Alby BII next?
-
Thank you, Boggie, I am glad you like the Camels. And:
Who says PC 10/12 is boring? ;D
these are my sentiments, exactly! For me PC10 is one of most pleasant and modeller-friendly colours, and is very fine for shading.
And finally, as for Alb B.II, unfortunately this project has still to wait for a special set of aftermarket bits, which I need for my planned scheme.
Currently, I have started working on something different than WNW. I hope to show some details soon in the appropriate section of this forum. ;-)

G'day Prze.
"Special aftermarket bits", that sounds intriguing! I'm sure the wait will be worth it. :)
And something different! I'm still intrigued! Looking forward to whatever it is. :)

There are no secrets with those aftermarket pieces. Melius Manu announced several times in FB that they were working on the upgrade to late B.II / B.IIa with top wing radiator, dual controls, modified struts and decals for some fine Polish post-war schemes. This is what I am waiting for.
As for my new project, let me keep it secret for some time yet. I will only tell that I am currently cleaning some fine resin parts :)
-
Two very nice Camels! I like the clean builds and you take advantage of the big scale.
Cheers,
Frank

Super Prze!
I keep doing double builds thinking it will be more efficient but it always ends up feeling like a slog!
No evidence of that here. Lovely.
Guy
-
Two beautiful Camels Prez, and a very informative build log to follow as well. You really do put many of us to shame with your models.... I am thinking of taking up sewing in future...
Stephen.
-
Thanks, Frank, Guy and Stephen.
Well, Guy, I can only confirm, double builds lead to problems for me, too. It seems I somehow cannot focus properly on a model, rather I am thinking of the other one instead of working quietly on the one in front of me. And I seem to forget about some details or make wrong decisions - the one with windscreens. Not any more! :)
Stephen, first of all, it is not my intent to put anybody to shame. But I can stop showing my models at any time, just let me know ;) Secondly, you should not tell things like this, we all know your great scratch builds! So, do some sewing, if you like, but do not do it instead of modelling, please!
-
Beautiful pair Przemek! I must finish my 1/72 Roden kit.
-
Wonderful Camels, the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. Really these are two masterpieces. Hats off!
Andreas
-
A nice pair of Camels Prez:
The Polish one is exceptionally attractive both in it's scheme and that it is an unusual scheme to see a Camel in. Excellent work to be proud of.
-
You have your style of building models Przemek. I think I would recognise your model without a doubt in a crowd of other builds.
It's not hard to guess that I simply love the "our" one ;) congratulations mate! Superb modelling master.
-
Thank you very much, Jurek, Andreas, Mark and Filip. Your kind words are highly appreciated.
-
Very nice work, Przemol, you obviously possess serious modelling skills!
Congratulations on finishing these builds with an excellent result.
Cheers
Ondra

Przemo, these are two of the most beautiful Camels I've ever seen, built to the highest standards. Congratulations, my friend!
Cheers,
Bud

Thank you, Ondra and Bud! I am glad you like my Camel pair :)

They are both top notch, well done

Remarkable detail on the Taurus Clerget, and it adds a lot to an already superbly done Kit. Great work Prze, right up there with your normally stellar standard of excellence! 8) 8) 8) 8)

Camelicious!
Very well done.

Fantastic!
-
Thank you, everyone! Very much appreciated.
-
Can you tell us which one is the kit's engine and which one is the Taurus' one? I cannot see the differences...? ;) OK sorry for my kidding!
It is simply amazing what you acchieved with the Taurus Clerget(s, both of them) and they take your fantastic Camel up to another level. Just brilliant!

Why sorry? Good jokes are always welcome :)
And yes, that is right, Taurus products are amazing. There is an extra thrill when building them, trying hard not to spoil such wonderful products with one's clumsy fingers. Well, I think I somehow managed to do them justice, to the level of my little skills at least.

Just another Masterpiece !!!!
