Beautiful work. The paint scheme is stunning, as is the engine detail.

One of the nicest schemes for an Albatros, your wood effect is superb as is the propeller and the detail on the engine is excellent, the overall finish on this model is extremely well done.

Incredibly finished, glad you rescued her from the shelf of doom. Outstanding all-around.

How something of this quality ended up on the "shelf of doom" truly baffles me, so glad you retrieved and finished her! Just lovely work all round, superb in fact..........
The random plank base is a real nice piece of work, an idea I'll borrow shamelessly! Congratulations on a beautiful model!
Cheers,
Lance

My sentiments entirely. Lance ha written precisely what I wanted to: just how this was put on one side is something which escapes me. What an excellent model - certainly one to put in front of the cabinet.

What did you make the sleeve thingies on the rigging from? Stretched ear-buds? They look much thinner than most brass tubing I've seen.

Very, very nice. Love the plywood particularly.
Cheers

Morning, yes stretched ear-bud tubing, but i feel they still are a bit over-scale. i've also used polyimide tubing, but it's expensive stuff
