The Eduard SE5a rigging PE and the Des' build of the AK8 used the mono and tube method of rigging as opposed to the drill thru methods promoted in the past on 1/48. What size tubing would be best for this method?

For the rigging on my FK.8 I used 0.1mm monofilament or the same size invisible thread would do the same job. The brass tubes I used are 0.4mm which has a 0.22mm hole (Griffon Models Tube), this allows two runs of the mono through the tube, very thin or runny CA (super Glue) holds it all together. The monofilament will add a great deal of strength to the wing assembly while the elastic thread adds only minimal rigidity.

Thanks Des! The Eduard SE5a copies the WNW points for the bracing between the struts with molded in loops.

I have two Eduard 1/48 scale Albatros kits, and need tutorials on rigging them. One is D.ii and the other is D.iii. I've no idea how to do this and would appreciate any help! Thanks!
