Title: Toy and Railway Museum of NSW
Post by: Jim on September 25, 2017, 08:17:03 PM
I just came back from a short holiday in the Blue Mountains near Sydney and wanted to share a few photos I took at the Toy and (model) Railway Museum in Leura:

The toy museum is contained in a stately house once owned by an Australian politician, Dr H V Evatt, which the Museum is also dedicated to. Seriously, this place is filled to the brim with toys and model trains and my photos do not do the collection justice. I should mention that some of the toys at the Museum are offensive (eg. racially derogatory, Nazi propaganda, etc), which I have not posted, despite their historical interest. For anyone with young children or young at heart, it is well worth a visit:

(For the Peter Jackson fans ;) )
