Title: DFW 28 Floh//Eduard//1:48
Post by: KrzysiekK on August 30, 2017, 07:17:26 PM
Good Day!
Special thanks to Bughunter for drawing my attention on the kit’s issues and crucial point within the built. I have also tried for very first time to keep the prop running and I am quite satisfied with the result.
DFW Floh a.k.a flying egg:)

You have done a superb job in capturing the ungainly look of this most unattractive aeroplane, the paint work and rigging are excellent, I love the backdrop to your photos.

Nicely done all round K. You've done a masterful job on what, from following your progress, is a difficult Kit to do well. An ugly little devil she was in real life but you've completed a beautiful model!
Cheers,
Lance

That is a superb model of a rather ugly aeroplane. You have really captured the ungainly appearance of the original. Beautiful photos too.

I have to agree with all of the others K. You have achieved outstanding results with a difficult kit and turned this beast into a beautiful model!!

Great build. I love this plane it was one of the planes, that made me switch from WWII to WWI Planes.
Great!

What a fantastic Floh! Congratulation, it looks so great, definitely much better done than mine.

Special thanks to Bughunter for drawing my attention on the kit’s issues and crucial point within the built.
It was a pleasure to help you here!

Cheers,
Frank

Truly outstanding, K!  Not an easy model, nor a pretty plane, but you've done a superb job on her and should be quite proud.
Cheers,
Bud

That's a great looking 'Floh' - congratulations, especially in 1:48 scale.
I've just completed the same model, although in 1:32 scale, so I can imagine the problems you faced building yours.
I've now posted my build of this quirky little aircraft.
