I just got an email from AK Interactive with news of some new paint sets. Including German and British paints. I'm not a great fan but I have used their stuff and had good results. I was hoping Ammo of Mig would bring out a few sets. Anyways just thought I would pass the news on. These paints are an acrylic paint for those like me who can no longer use enamels.

That German Aircraft colours set caught my eye right away James; looks perfect as a touch up paint for the Lozenge which inevitably ends up with (self inflicted) damage during application, at least by this modeller! I wonder where in Canada we could source these products, I'd assume via mail delivery if legal?
Cheers,

I think I will order direct this time. Let me know if you want a set Lance. Will probably order this weekend.

Are these Acrylics? I have some of their ship colors and they are acrylics.

Please let us know, how happy you are with them! Although I love those Vallejo/AK/Mig Acrylics for brushpainting figures, I prefer Tamiya and Gunze for spraying - not to talk about the awesome Drooling Bulldog or MRP paints.

I have used various AK products in the past. Mostly I've found their perfomance disapointing for various reasons. Though these might be OK, I'd rather spend my money on Drooling Bulldog or Mr Paint.

They are acrylics. I have had mixed luck with AK but want to try these. Unfortunately I can't find Mr colour up here and enamels don't sit well with me. To much contact with jet fuel so now I find solvents bother me.
Will let you know results ASAP.
