Hello everybody. I can't tell you all how excited I am to have found a place with so many great people and is such a great resource. I recently found Des's website and it really caught my attention and I had to try modelling for myself. I just finished my first model, a 1:32 scale Fokker Dr.1 and can say I without a doubt that I am hooked. I'm about to start my next model, a 1:32 Morane Saulnier type N. I've always been fascinated by these old airplanes and have a particular interest in French aircrafts and being as realistic as possible. I'm looking forward to getting to know the people on this forum and learning as much as I can to pass on the knowledge to those coming after me.

As an aside I have many fond memories of Birmingham and Alabama from my visits there on exchange flying exercises with the State ANG Unit in the early 80's; beautiful country and wonderful friendly folks!
