Done at last! Melted floats and broken struts killed my enthusiasm initially, but once I decided to move on and finish her, I enjoyed this project. Great kit, if you follow instructions.
I used Aviattic Naval Hex, Pheon markings and Gaspatch Parabellum. All, truly superb.

Very fine, Bud. Great you have decided to complete it. A real gem in your collection.

It's amazing how colorful a grey aircraft can look. Great build.

Thanks so much, guys! Lots of warts on this one, though, but I'm happy with it overall, mainly 'cause it's done. My biggest problem with this kit, aside from melting the floats, was my pigheadedness at ignoring the instructions. I'm used to kits with exploded drawings as the only form of instruction, so this one put me in informational overload. With WNW, you can run into trouble if you get things out of sequence. The most obvious faux pas is the long exhaust stack that this plane didn't have. Oh, well. It's done and I'm glad.
Cheers,
Bud

Beautifully done Bud, and a great scheme! (Same as mine completed last month - great minds come to the same choices!) Compliments as well for your persistence, I'm not sure I'd have continued as you did after the "melt down of the floats" episode :-\ :o!!
Cheers,
Lance

Great result, Bud, congratulations on finishing this beauty! She is very nicely rendering the original plane, I especially like the work you have done on the propeller.
