Hello everyone after a long break I started to do another model that gave me a lot of work and that I was disappointed when it comes to some of the details I was expecting much more and better from this company but now it does not matter anymore now I will move my work more and images and less I comment I hope that you like it
-
model airplane that I chose was in the service of Serbian Air Force on the Salonika front

when I started this model I had to search a lot of data through literature and inetrnet although I have a lot of books about the Serbian Aviation searches on the internet I was also quite helped found a pretty picture as far as the interior where I needed information as accurately all seemed this is one of the photos that I found as far as the cockpit
-
Nice start, looking forward to your progress with interest.

In addition, there is little doubt regarding the outward appearance blends of choice in all the photos this model is mostly presented as if it were colored linen or while I researched and compared the old black and white photographs from that period I realized that planes were coated lacquered payments were significantly brighter regardless of what the weather conditions are painted, while planes were silver color painted surfaces have a completely different look and even have some surfaces better shone, in this case, I decided that my scale model is in silver it is aircraft who served on the Salonika front during 1916, in the photo is one of the French pilots
some details from this pilot
Nieuport 11 No 1482 "called" Kid "- Early Nieuport 11 squadron, presumably personally mount PU Raymond havet, Seat, at the beginning of 1916 - photo collection Military Aviation Museum in Belgrade, Lieutenant Raymond elise havet -. Always great to see another Nieuport being built and what you have done so far is excellent, the cockpit looks superb.
Des.

Thank you Des, constantly trying to increase the image so you can see small details but whenever I try not succeeding but constantly seeks to reduce image resolution, in any case, thanks for the support

Beautiful work so far Igi, and your cockpit is superbly done! One of your photos shows the new "Tamiya Masking Tape for Curves", I'd be interested in your comments on it.
Cheers,
Lance

thanks , this is the picture I figure accidentally masking tape than 3mm but actually want to use the tape of 2mm only for parts that are tied to a wooden substructure in the fuselage and for details on the wings will use the tape in self build that same classic Tamiya tape that I cut into strips of 1 mm which will facilitate me to emphasize the details of the shaded parts on the canvas of the wings but I will not exaggerate when it comes to differences in shades of silver color.
as far as the cockpit here, I used only Vallejo watercolor that I shaded with red, yellow, dark brown, light brown and even something like a lighter color wood, lacquered in matt or semi gloss I used the same Vallejo varnish that was just a little meat as with red or yellow where I got the necessary different shades of lacquered wood, the rest is just work hand
what we lack is only instruments that ought to arrive these days, normally will use the instruments of Eduard sets which are only for planes from ww1

-
the lower part of the plane .... no excessive traces of dirt
-
view from the direction of the tail .....
-
lower surface of the upper wings .... with a little detail painted canvas ....and preparing forward fuselage ...

and motor stage...
