Title: Help required - Ship's Camel Platform
Post by: Gisbod on April 11, 2017, 10:57:28 PM
Hello all,

I'm being sent a Ship's Camel   ;D yay

Trying to get some information / leads on a suitable 'ship's platform' base.

There are a few tantalising pictures in the instructions...

Basic planking may be ok for a start. So any recommended sources/ ideas for either a 'kit' or will it be a scratch build only? Or something I could use and adapt?

I'd be grateful for any help!

Guy

Hi Guy, it looks like we are on the same track - my intention too ;)

Only thing I have so far are the images in the recent Windsock data file - dimensions however are another matter.

I was intending to get it to try to get it to 'look right' using the images to ascertain a degree of proportion though it will be a long time before I even think about opening the box let alone start it so good luck with your search in the meantime.

 Regards - Tug
