What a fine brace of war worn Albatri. Great modelling! Congratulations, Dave.

Congratulations on a pair of beauties.

Very nice and two wonderful color shemes!

Wonderful pair. The display really sets them off - great models beautifully weathered.

Great Duo !!!

WOW Dave! Both are beautiful, and done "dirtied up" exactly as I prefer them. That's a pair of models to be very proud of, you've done some really superior work here!
Cheers,
Lance

Beautiful! Vibrant and weathered at the same time. Very inspiring!
Cheers, Tom

Great Job, Dave! I mostly like the Stropp Albatros.
Manni

Both look terrific! Outstanding weathering and finish.
RAGIII

Obviously a lot of thought has gone into the weathering and wear and tear of these two. Nice models.
Cheers

Those are nice builds! Did you use oil paints to get the wood effects?
-
Wow, this is really excellent, Dave, congratulations!
Cheers

Yes it's oils over white.

Mastery to be admired, fantastic :)

Wonderful work! But I have to ask.. Doesn't Stropp have lozenge camo?
-
Either. Depending on the day of the week.

Okay... I don't get it. ??? Don't get me wrong, I love the look you have. It looks great! Is there some debate if the wings that cam with Stropp were original to this particular aircraft? And if this is a dumb question, please let me know!
-
Sorry yes. There are WNW schemes for it with lozenge and without, so I went for the one in the box?
-
Got it. Thanks guys! I still have not seen a WNW kit in person so I had no idea there was an option. The only reference I have seen for that was the restoration book by nasm. Great work! Now back to my corner...
