This is not a joke. Happening now on evil bay bidding war for WnW W.29 now at $350.00USD!!! Just amazing. Also, bidding from the UK for a Gavia 1:48 Aviatik Berg D.I series 138 kit sold for $124.00USD.
Never thought I would stare at my unbuilt stash as a investment oppurtunity. I must admit I turned my cyber- hobby kits into groceries this summer. That being said, back to building!

                 Back about 10-11 years ago those of us on the WWI Modeling List all got a real kick out of an evil-bay buyer who went by the name "RedAxe".  He'd get in bidding wars for Blue Max kits that were, at the time, current available, and in stock for $40 US, and he'd pay over $125 US for them. He was a nut. We all thought of putting our BM kits up seeing if he'd bite.  ;D
