Very interested in the flying wires... I can't see how they stay in place without bowing with every tiny move of the model being handled...

I used both 2 and 4 BA RAFwires from RB Productions.They need to be carefully measured and be prepared to use up several scalpel blades when trimming and cutting. The various end terminals are very fiddly and I confesss to having simplified their attachments.
They can be prone to bending but the trick is to make them slightly underlength so no pressure is exerted between points.

Well, the 2F.1 is just completed-here is a quick snapshot. The tail trestle is a semi-permanent fixture to protect the modded tailskid.

I must take this opportunity of giving a big dose of kudos to Gaspatch. I ordered extra Lewis guns on May 26 and they arrived here yesterday morning-within an hour they were affixed to the model-the last items to go on. Thanks Costas! :)
