Title: Water color pencil prop painting.
Post by: krow113 on March 20, 2017, 03:15:52 AM
As sort of described in the header.
I am gonna try to do my Gotha 4 blade props with wood layer detail in water color pencil.
I have seen/heard of it being possible and am asking if there are any tutorials available here or ...?
Props are in a light tan color now:

Derwent set from eaons ago, a present from my mother in law , and some extra pencils I picked up to make up the browns:

Thanks in advance.

You should check Bertl's Pfalz and/or Albatros builds here (http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=7055.30) and here (http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=200.msg2875#msg2875)
